Two Words. Estee Bullock. Estee Bullock is a songwriter, vocalist and music minister whose keen songwriting and love for music has opened doors for him beyond his wildest dreams. Hailed by gospel music critics as “The Rising Son” within the genre, 2009 marked a pivotal turn in the Brooklyn, New York-natives music career and the time for his gifts to gain prominence was no longer afar off, but had come to pass.

Though singing and writing music since he was a child, Bullock acquired more knowledge and skill in the area of music, music theory, composition, and vocals by attending New York’s renowned Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music and Arts/Performing Arts where he majored in Vocal Performance.

In his early teens, Bullock became a founding member of the GRAMMY and Stellar Award-winning gospel group, Hezekiah Walker and the Love Fellowship Crusade Choir (LFCC), and was afforded the opportunity to travel worldwide ministering the gospel of Jesus Christ in song.

Upon graduation from high school, he attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts where he studied Music Business Management. There, he learned various concepts and techniques that contributed to the growth and development of his personal music ministry and vocal dexterity.

The 30-something Brooklyn, NY-native credits his years of serving with LFCC, Walker’s guidance and his education as foundations for his great appreciation for music, arranging, and songwriting.

Two Words. Souled Out. In 2009, Bullock’s songwriting talent was catapulted from obscurity to unimaginable heights when “Souled Out,” a song he penned on Hezekiah Walker and the Love Fellowship Crusade Choir’s 2009 CD of the same name, hit number 1 on the Billboard Gospel charts. Acclaimed by gospel music super producer/composer/songwriter/artist Donald Lawrence as “the National Anthem for the Body of Christ,” Souled Out helped Walker and LFCC capture five awards (out of the six nominations it received at the 2010 Stellar Awards), including Choir of the Year, Contemporary Choir of the Year, and Contemporary CD of the Year. In April 2010, Bullock will be attending the Gospel Music Awards (GMA)/Dove Awards where his composition is up for “Contemporary Song of the Year.”

Two Words. Song+Writer=Songwriter. Estee Bullock believes, “The best lyrics come from a real place or experience and the best melodies from listening to sounds all around you; however, the best praise is produced when you have surrendered the most precious thing in your life into God's hands.”  As a songwriter, Estee Bullock combines those elements to create songs and declarations with which the entire Body of Christ can identify.

Two Words. Thank You. In 2010, one is sure to find YouTube clips with views ranging from 500 to over 100,000 of college, community, and church choirs singing lyrics that Estee Bullock penned.  For this Bullock is grateful.

Bullock has also performed with such popular music legends Carole King and Mavis Staples; salsa superstar Marc Anthony; and gospel greats Donnie McClurkin and Kim Burrell. His musical influences include Donny Hathaway, Diane Warren, Richard Smallwood and the Bee Gees. For this, he is most grateful.

Since penning “Souled Out”, “Keep On Moving On”, “Let Go, Let God” (Hezekiah Walker & LFC/Produced by Donald Lawrence), and “Nobody” (Pastor Shirley Caesar/Produced by PAJAM), Estee Bullock's catalog has continued to steadily grow with songs available for placement.  Lil' Bull Music is actively seeking a partnership with a major music publisher.
